There are several threads on this forum about "impotato"
and as you said "MALWARE" problem. SpywareQuake is
a rogue/suspect SPYWARE program, not a virus.
Getting rid of SpywareQuake is best done with the help
of antiSPYWARE Experts, which hopefully you did !?
Ewido is and anti-malware, which specialises in Trojan detection, there have been no conflicts reported on the forums. There are many forum members using it, mostly the free version that after the trial period there are no resident features. Even with the resident Guard element I haven’t seen any issues on the forums.
When I find a virus with avast! I move the virus to the chest. Once the virus is in the chest what should O do? So I delete it or leave it in the chest?
You have done the right thing, ‘first do no harm’ don’t delete, send virus to the chest and investigate.
There is no rush to delete anything from the chest, they can’t do any harm there. Anything that you send to the chest you should leave there for a week or two. If after that time you have suffered no adverse effects from moving these to the chest, scan them again (inside the chest) and if they are still detected as viruses, delete them.
