Plex Media server stopped working

I have been using the free version of avast with no problems but now I have paid for the full version I find I can’t connect to the plex server on my windows 10 computer. The firewall says the plex media server DLNA service is blocked and also the “host service for windows” is always blocked and avast doesn’t give me a clue on how to unblock them.

I found that before posting but it makes no sense. As shown in the image the firewall allows everything to the DLNA server but it is still blocked.

derek, did you ever figure this out?

I’ve got the same issue. Uninstalled Avast Pro and went back to free for now. Tried some of the suggested fixes using exclusions, etc., but never got full allowance for Plex.
