I have a problem that if i click on this "sacn outbound mail (smtp) " option in Mail Shield setting, i cannot send any mails from my Outlook Express appliacation on laptop,so now i have not clicked this option and it runs well .
pls help me to fix this problem, thks.
Did you import avasts certificate in Outlook?
If not, do so and see if it solves the problem.
See http://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB91 - whilst this doesn’t directly mention how to do this in Outlook Express. You will have to see if you can find these setting options in OE and adapt.
OE 6, is very old and hasn’t been updated, you should be considering updating to another email client or consider just using webmail.
