Popup constantly saying "threat has been detected" every 20 minutes or so

Hi,
So my Avast! gives me warnings of a threat in about every 20 minutes even if I am browding or just simply using microsoft word
I mostly open google chrome for browsing. And when I click on the threat for more details it says malware has been blocked, nothing else to be done. I’m extremely worried, mine is a new laptop and it is windows 8. This what it says when I click on more details.
