Possible browser infection

Went to open my firefox browser and was redirected to the site below (removed the ability to click the link)

lpmxp2030.com/4A504A69566B5A5F3C78487954624C3C80EC3D780F6B1270167B10A1B00545F14C514B84D66769C89A2A8B3CE971BB23?tgu_src_lp_domain=www.updateplugins.com&ClickID=394262820&PubID=37

Not sure where I got this infection, but avast and malwarebytes did not detect it.

Download AdwCleaner…run, click clean…attach log

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

removal team will be online later and check your logs

Done

Did that change anything?

I can see nothing untoward, what problems are you experiencing ?

Has not happened since the last scan I was asked to complete. It only happened twice, but it was just a redirect to that link above on firefox start up.
Nothing happened though, I think no script/adblock stopped anything from happening.

I can see nothing in firefox, do you have any unknown addons ?

No new/unknown addons and still no redirects since yesterday.

If all remains well in the next day or so let me know and I will remove the tools

Everything seems fine.

In that case methinks I will send you on your merry way

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

: Keep Java Updated :

WARNING: Java is the #1 exploited program at this time. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that computer users disable Java
See this article

I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)

Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programmes:

CryptoPrevent install this programme to lock down and prevent crypto ransome ware
