Possible Bug in Update

Hello

Is it only me or some users are being affected. Avast did an update for its VPS. It didn’t show up a notification like it always do, it even didn’t show this pop up notification like this one mentioned here http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=140783.0

I just went to this page http://www.avast.com/en-nz/virus-update-history and I have seen the latest VPS update is 131127-1. My avast VPS update is 131127-2. Well yeah, it did update but didn’t get a VPS update notification or the notification in the link provided.

Is it a bug or not or some few users are experiencing this?

I’ve only received the popup 1 time which was today.

My latest is 131127-2 but sadly I was out of the room for a while and I just rebooted my computer 5 minutes ago so can’t check the last pop-up. It’s up to date so no problem. :smiley:

I was in front of my laptop lol. Didn’t see VPS pop up notification nor that pop up notification mentioned in the link that I provided.

I did and it was the correct one.
Right click on the tray icon>click on “show last pop-up”. :slight_smile:

“Show last pop-up” is grayed out ???

Like I said before I didn’t get a pop up notification that comes from the bottom right hand corner nor the pop up notification from the link that i provided. I just hovered my mouse to the avast tray icon ( I didn’t click it) and the latest VPS update got installed according to the VPS update history from avast website.

I didn’t restart my laptop. I was with my laptop the whole time!

What gives ???

Not so here, the popup when 131127-2 updated was an advert as shown.

I didn’t get that either nor the normal VPS update. So I take it that this is a bug? Should I submit a ticket about this?

Few minutes ago, I have submitted a support ticket to Avast. Will wait for their reply?
