Possible false positive for HTTrack

Hi folks,

I am the author of HTTrack, a popular offline browser aimed to backup/mirror websites.

It has been reported by several users that HTTrack was detected as a trojan, due to internal httrack proxy routines.
See: http://forum.httrack.com/readmsg/17436/index.html

Can someone confirm this, and can the avast team fix the false positive (if any) ?

Thanks!

Wow… I use HTTrack for a long time. Nice software. Great work. Thanks.
Hope they correct the false positive soon.

Thanks  Hope they’ll fix the issue too :stuck_out_tongue:

can you update your VPS and re-check the file?
