Downloaded psychonauts from steam earlier today. Avast spoke up saying one particular file was a trojan or potentially one…ive put it in the chest. Here is all the info I got from VT

The file itself is suppose to be involved in the startup of the game…linking it to steam…without it the game will not start up

Um…perhaps my lack of sleep is hitting me hard…or I cant understand that.
Are you asking if it looks like a valid File path for the file?

no
I’m saying that it does look like a false positive based on the lack of detection from the major scanners
avast and g-data use the same scanner so they together only count as one
did this file come directly from the game download site?
is the site reliable?
you could get a second opinion from jotti where A-squared and spybot scanners are also used
I’m gone in 5 min
