Hello,

Hi…
You might want to run the file through Virus Total just to make sure…
If it turns out to be an FP, you can exclude it from avast’s main and real time scanners.
Best Regards…
Its a false positive I just scanned my computer and it didn’t alert me for that file.
Well that doesn’t mean that because your file comes up clean the original posters file is also clean. There is a) no way to confirm that you are using the same version of this file b) the MD5s match (unique code which shows they are identical) for the file on the different systems.
If the two files were the same version, then yours coming up clean is more likely to indicate the other is infected and not the opposite.
So to confirm, the only way is by analysis as suggested by uploading to virustotal.
That means nothing… dealflow could have a different file, infected or not…
Like David said, it will be good a virustotal analysis.
Also, please, send the file to virus (at) avast (dot) com
and say it’s probably a false positive.
