Thanks for the advice Polonus. However, I don’t think it would be the mp3/mpg as I haven’t done that lately, as in the past 3 months (better to be honest, right?). I did a full scan of my computer and external hardrive with malware bytes and nothing came up. However, I did a extensive full scan by avast, all options checked, looking for rootkits, pup’s, etc, and… yeah. I have a screenshot. It says I have six infected files (nuts!) but “no threat found.” Is avast barking up the wrong tree? As I said before, I have had no adverse affects on my computer, so if Avast wasn’t reporting it, I wouldn’t have suspected any problems. But I understand virus/malware is tricky like that. Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, I’m sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
