I’ve shared a folder in Ubuntu and there unexpectedly appeared some windows executables, I’m 99% sure these are trojans or viruses, but checking that folder with avast returns no results. Is there a way to upload these files to avast site, so you’ll examine them?
Upload them to www.virustotal.com and check.
You can also send them to virus@avast.com for analysis.
After I’ve seen avast there I’ve updated it, although I did it few days ago, and now after update it found the viruses.
