Possible infection on new PC + Avast fails to start

Hi,
I recently bought a new PC last week and I have been gradually installing and updating over the last few days before copying everything over from my lap top. I only have avast free installed on the new PC and today when I booted it up most of my programs failed giving me 0xc0000006 error codes. I downloaded Malwarebytes but it also fails to load giving me a run time error 440. I have dds and HijackThis reports which I can post if needed.

Hopefully some one can help me with this.
Cheers

(post the logs here in this topic and not in the guide)

To avoid using multiple post with copy and paste you have to attach the log`s
Lower left corner: Additional Options > Attach ( Malwarebytes log / OTS log )

Essexboy will look at the logs when he arrive here later today

Thanks for getting back to me.
I’m unable to run Malwarebytes but here is my OTS log

What are the system specs of the new PC?

Memory and Hard disc space are ample…

I see you have run combofix, could you attach the log for that please

I ran combofix at the suggestion of the IT specialist from work but when it runs I get a lot of pop ups saying PEV.cfxxe and pev.exe have stopped working. Combofix also closed after stage 48 complete of scanning and didn’t restart the PC or generate a log.

should I run it again?

Delete the copy you have on the desktop and download a fresh copy

If it should fail to run again then retry in safe mode - if that fails I will use another tool
