Postfix Help with avast scanner and avast relay

Hi, I have installed all 3 packages into my linux box. I have configured the master.cf file for postfix and also got all of the other files edited. What I am wondering is why do I not have a folder called avastrelay?? I have read in this forum and alot of people are referring to that folder located at /var/spool/avastrelay , but I dont see that folder on my computer! Can someone please help me figure out why that is…

And one more this is that When I look at the maillog after I try and send a email it shows a few errors like

connection refused 127.0.0.1 on port 10025
avastscanner not started and not found…

Anyone PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS!

Seems that you haven’t started the avastd daemon, OR, there’s no such port 10025 local port listening (check the sections /etc/avastd.conf file).

ok I will check that. But I am pretty sure the daemon is running. I have it setup to start in the startup on chkconfig. When I do a chkconfig --list is shows its turned on. but I will check it anyway. Also what about the avastrelay folder? Why dont I have one>?

ok… I think I got it going now. It was something I had to uncomment at the bottom of avastd.conf file. The mail scanner was commented out with ;
