posting images

im just wondering how you post images on post for example when people start a topic like what does your desktop look like?you no how people post pictures of there desktop how do you do that?can anyone teach me how to do that?thank you

You can search this forum or DO a Google search to download the Gadwin PrintScreen freeware. Install it. In the options, make it to obtain a .png or jpeg file of your screen. Read the instruction if needed. Save to your desktop or the Printscreen folder (usually in the Document folder). You can rename it for classification purposes.
Now when you write to this forum, click on ADDITIONAL OPTIONS and browse to your file on your pc to upload it. There is a limit to the file but usually jpegs and png are ok (bmp are too big.) That’s it!!!

See how: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=8982.0).
You can use Gadwin PrintScreen to get a screenshot (http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/) or the free version of WinSnap 1.1.10 (http://www.filehippo.com/download_winsnap/?2173).

thanks for the help gdiloren and tech i really appreciate i ended up downloading gadwin print screen

You’re welcome. I’d rather WinSnap

ya but winsnap is not free an im kind of low on moeney right now but thanks tech

You doesn’t need any program to capture a screen shot just click the Print Screen button on you keyboard and paste it on Window Print program or any other program related with editing the picture.

That’s MS Paint (or just Paint in Vista) not Window Print …
Print Window is a program for mac’s as far as i know .

You don’t have configurability… you can’t save the file, you can’t choose an area on the screen, etc.

MWSnap is free and what I use:

JingProject is another excellent free choice:

Why do twice as much work when you can accomplish it in one simple task ???

I also use MWSnap which is very easy to use and works like a charm.

I just tried MWSnap and is better ;D .
