Potential malware from photoshop copy

Hi there. I recently got myself a new PC and all after 8 years of using my old one due to it having basically fried its HDD, but well. I used to have an old copy of Photoshop for very long but now I basically had none. A friend hooked me up with one after I asked him for help and he sent me this Adobe Photoshop 2020 copy and I did download it and after installing it I nearly regretted it instantly. He told me it was a cracked copy and I’m quite paranoid so I began scanning the folders and all a couple of times with Malwarebytes and Nod32 antivirus, without finding anything.

But Photoshop would eat nearly 75% of my RAM (I do know it’s a heavy software but honestly even on my older laptop it didn’t nearly do this much)

Even then I still uninstalled it due to me feeling nervous now having had bad experiences with cracked software before. So I ended up deleting that and most of it but if possible I’d like to request somebody to take an actual professional look into this possibly. I’ll leave down the needed files and all in the attachments. Thank you.

What’s wrong with the Eset forums, I don’t see avast in the list of security products installed

They used to say beware of strangers bearing gifts, I guess they need to ad friends to that quote.
Having multiple AVs installed (Norton) enabled or not could conflict. You should always try to install them before installing another.

I’ve uninstalled Norton after I started the computer for the first time. It basically came packed with the whole thing but I uninstalled and then installed Eset. Is there anything fishy in the logs?

I just located some remaining files of Norton after I uninstalled it. I deleted them and tried the scans again. No difference in results.

Looks like you want the Eset forum, not Avast.

I’ll check with ESET then. lol
