Hola ¿Me pueden ayudar, por favor? acabo de desintalar avast, para luego reinstalarlo, pero cuando lo descargo no pasa nada y cuando busco en la carpeta en la que se supone que esta sale una ventana que dice: setup_av_free.exe no es una aplicacion W32 válida. ¿Que significa esto? Ayuda por favor y gracias. :slight_smile:

No, there wasn’t any sing of virus. When I tried to use avast a window showed up and said something like there’s an “error and you need to reinstall” (I don´t remember very well) So I uninstall it and now I cannot reinstall.

Pruebe una reinstalación completa desde el principio.

-Descargar el (ver más abajo en la traducción) (descarga directa de Avast.) Guardar esta en el escritorio.
-Descarga la utilidad de desinstalación de (vea la traducción a continuación). Ifyou tenido ningún otro antivirus en el equipo antes Avast, descargue la herramienta de eliminación adecuada de (ver más abajo) Guardar este (o estos) Archivo / s en su escritorio. Try a full reinstall from the start.

-Download the full setup file (direct download from Avast.) Save this to the desktop.
-Download the uninstall utility from here. If you had any other antivirus on the computer before Avast, download the appropriate removal tool from here. Save this (or these) file/s to your desktop. (Norton, for example, often comes pre-installed on computers.)
-Go offline.
-If possible, uninstall Avast from the control panel add/remove programs.
-Reboot into safe mode.
-Run the Avast uninstall utility. Run any other uninstall tool you may need to run.
-Reboot, twice.
-Install Avast from the setup file you downloaded. When the icon appears, and looks normal, reconnect to the internet.
-Reboot. (A second reboot might be necessary.)
-Get updates (probably will happen automatically) and register the program.
