Premium account - unable to read forwarded sms messages

Hi,

I have an Avast Premium account. I am trying to protect my daughters telephone because she has just started college. Her Samsung mini is rooted. My Samsung S5 is rooted. Both have the latest version of avast anti theft installed.

I have set my daughters phone to forward SMS messages to my telephone. It seems to be working perfectly – to the extent that I am receiving notifications on my phone that an “Anti-Theft SMS from 00 44 7***…” And that is all I can see because the notification area is too short to display the rest of the message all the telephone number which has been used "although in this case it is my daughters phone number as the Sim card has not been replaced.)

The problem is that when I tap/click the notification, the Avast screen opens up and I am invited to put in my pin code. I put in the pin code and then I am taken to another of our screen which gives me information about scans and other options but there is nowhere where I can see any of the details of the SMS. I am unable to read it because I can’t see the text and I can’t see the number which sent the text or the number to which it was sent. There is absolutely no sight of the SMS message.

Please can you help me find out where these SMS messages go when they are forwarded on to my telephone. I would have thought that they would be forwarded into my inbox but they aren’t. To all intents and purposes, nothing seems to be being forwarded to me other than the notification which I’m unable to read fully because there is not enough space for the whole message.
