I think they need to include DropMyRights to that list, especially those who aren’t planning to ‘upgrade’ to Vista any time soon.

Maybe this will help:

Once your system is satisfactorily cleaned be sure to follow these guidelines to prevent a reinfection.

Hi DavidR,

Yes, I agree with you there are a few things more one can consider to enhance the overall security of the Internet user. One of those certainly is DropMeRights. I used it for some half year at work, and at home on my full rights account, and my normal user account my program of choice is SafeXP. On my alternate browser I cannot go without NoScript anymore nor Stealther or Cookie Editor, and I like to know where I am going with McAfeeSiteAdvisor, Scandoo.com, and the Scan with DrWeb’s hyperlink av-scanner one click away.
Everybody has his personal formula to stay malware free. Mine is a combination of Ad-Aware, Spybot-S&D, SpywareBlaster, Avast, FreeFixer, XClean-Micro, ClamWin non-resident, ATF cleaner, XRay-Pc, Process Explorer, HijackThis, Toolbarcop, Killbox, Dotomyco, DropMeRights to mention the main flavour of my Personal Anti-Malware solution. Experienced two tracking cookies and they were deleted closing the browser. I tweaked my browser with some security components (Flock) and added PktFilter to enhance the ZoneAlarm firewall’s capabilities. My proxy of choise is httProxy, and for anonymous browsing at work I use Torpark.
