I prefer Prevx Home because Abtrusion Protector is more diffeicult to use and Prevx Home has a nicer GUI and i believe protects you in more ways.
I think Ab protector is probably the better option simply because its still free. Prev-x was originally free when it first landed a year or so back but now i think its $20.
Both programs are too much overkill in a home environment for me . Bombard you with warnings about possible consequences and you end up still having to trust your own judgment rather than make educated judgements based on their advice.
Definitely a valuable asset in a business network situation though.
Both are dangerous for common users and can block legit things and bring some trouble as both work in low level. I’ve gave up on them some time ago due to BSODS, antivirus & firewall conflicts, troubles with 16bit applications, installation of programs become a nightmare…
They could be good, depending for what you use your computer :-\
