If I renew via using the Avast! software, its only 39.99 but no paypal option. If I go online to the avast! site to renew, its 59.99 and I am able to use paypal. Whats up with this? Why is there no renew with paypal option within the avast! software?

I search the forums but could not find anything. I even called into customer service / billing , the person I talked to did not know anything about this issue. Has anyone renewed a subscription through the software via paypal?

Remember that your PayPal card can be used as a regular credit card. 
Generally there is a renewal discount from within the avastUI - however, when doing it from your browser there is no way to link to the avast UI to recognise you as an existing paid user.
I don’t know about the Payment options not showing PayPal for you - I’m using the free version of avast so from the UI I followed the Seasonal Sale ‘Get upgrade option.’ When I followed it through it did give an option to use PayPal.
I do not use the paypal CC. Here is the images of renewal:

The second one has no paypal option even though the first image says paypal.
That’s weird, as I have three other options.
Not sure what else I can suggest - I will try to report this and see if we can get some avast input.
