I know that this is very off topic, but it is driving me crazy. I am trying to print my portfolio in Microsoft Money 2008, and keep getting this message on my Vista laptop, but I can print reports. I don’t know where to change these preferences. I do have my printer set as default. I am without my XP desktop which printed Money’s portfolio with no problems.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am still checking around of course the entire file is a .mny file, but my printer must be associated with it because it prints reports, just not my portfolio.
Hi Rosalie… ![]()
Go to the Control Panel—>Default Programs—>Associate a file type or protocol with a program. ![]()
You can read a bit more information here.
May God Bless you! ![]()
Thank you,
I had my .htm files associated with Firefox. Apparently I had to associate them with Internet Explorer in order to print my portfolio. I was trying to figure out how to make it work without changing the .mny extension, and didn’t realize it was because of the htm file association that I was having the problem. Now it works great.

Hi…
Glad you got everything working! ![]()
Best Regards…
Glad that you have it resolved, though it seems very strange that file associations would resolve it, as it really shouldn’t matter which browser is assigned to open .htm/.html files.
If it does then there really is something wrong in M$ Money, which I find plausible that it insists on IE ![]()
Perhaps I feel another law suite on restrictive/anti-competitive practices coming on ;D
