ever since firefox updated to version 48 my privacy badger has been acting buggy like not showing anything when there should be something and showing things from other sites. I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with it too?
A quick search on Privacy and firefox 48.0 returns many hits, whilst this one isn’t directly addressed as in firefox 48, it probably is (given as the date of someone reporting a problem was 4 August 2016).

Probably best to take a visit to the privacy badger site and see if there are any more reports there.
im guessing the new firefox update broke something privacy badger used, Ive had it happen with other addons.
just a matter of waiting for PB to fix it and put out an update i guess.
I don’t use privacy badger, so I don’t know all of its features, but surely the firefox settings on Privacy should be able to do that ?
Yes, I also experience PB not dispaying the blocked and unblocked sites/cookies since firefox updated to 48.
I have not been able to find the right channels to report this to the EFF PB site, maybe someone else knows where/how to report this?
In the meantime, I will wait and hope that an update for PB will be released.
Update: PB 1.8.0 has been released. Issue solved!
There is an update pending for Privacy Badger to 1.8.0 that may address some of the issues
