Privatefirewall left over

Yes i think iv used that trick on my old xp before with success, that’s the only shity thing iv come across with win 7 so far :stuck_out_tongue:

Well who care craig if we cant remove it… Its doesnt conflict that for sure David said it. Also conflict would happen only if i had privatefirewall and pc tools both installed and running so now i only got those 2 left over which dont matter. So you and me should be ok.

I was wondering that much first time i cant see a file to deleted so i was in panic sorry if i asked too much questions i just wanted to be sure but now im sure and i know its not lie. So im happy to got PC Tools on my pc.

Too bad that privatefirewall dont got auto-update the day they was having a new release i did said no more privatefirewall and i will install another similar firewall for me lol. I heard PC Tools is doing great even in Win7 so i installed it and run so quiet with his HIPS its like the best so far i did seen !!! Also PC Tools is updating automatic.

PS : I did try PC Tools Live Chat its awesome you just need to follow what they say and dont miss that some time they will want you to call them if the problem is very hard and diffilcult… Its just a wonderfull product that i should have try it first lol.

Hi Mr.Agent,

Just came back and got you this information,

The driver can be started or stopped from Services in the Control Panel, I mean that pwipf6.sys, that is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32\drivers. Known file sizes on Windows XP are 108,296 bytes (42% of all occurrence), 107,272 bytes, 108,880 bytes, 102,224 bytes. pwipf6.sys seems to be a compressed file. Some malware camouflage themselves as pwipf6.sys, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder, upload an scan at VT to ensure it is not a pest then.
Freefixer information for you to consider, see this link:

polonus

lol polonus its ok it isnt either a malware or what ever the folder name is C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository something like that with a reg of legacy_pwipf6 and david with craig told me that its impossible to delete those even with removal tool so no need to waste my time about this anymore i think if its was a malware its wont indeed got a copyright from privatefirewall (privacyware/pwi) lol…
