Keep finding these two programs listed as running in Task Manager. Shut them down but then next day they show up again. Can’t locate them anywhere. Did a search, ran a couple of antivirus programs as a couple of viruses did show up recently, ran spybot and ad-aware. Nothing showed up yet next thing I know, they are running again. Anyone know what’s going on here? Thanks.

They will be back, simply stopping the process without deleting the files and registry ‘Run’ entries won’t do it.
If you use Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com you will be able the path of the processes I suppose…
Is your OS up to date? Are you using a firewall?
Also, here are few lists where you can check running process names and determine are they trustworthy…

The two processes running with these are wasplis.exe and intranet.exe. Also, I keep getting the following message when the processes are running (avast!: connection timeout…Intranet connection timeout elapsed. Continue waiting? Then run CWshredder: http://cwshredder.net/bin/CWShredder.exe
Then run a boot time scan with avast set to scan inside archives (Open Avast > Menu (Top left hand corner) > Boot time scan)
Then run any spyware scanners you have (Spybot/Ad-aware/Microsoft Anti-spyware etc)
Then download and run LSPfix: http://www.cexx.org/LSPFix.exe
Once LSPfix is open look for ‘xfire_lsp_10650.dll’ and make sure its in the ‘REMOVE’ section, then check the ‘i no what im doing’ box, then click Finish.
