Pro features in free version?

I’ve made a similar post about this issue few moth ago but nothing has changed so i’m asking again :stuck_out_tongue:
Are the firewall, the sandbox, the Real Site and the Web Shield basic components which come bundled with the free version? Because if not then i got them somehow activated and working on my free version. not that i’m complaining :slight_smile: but i’m just curious to find out what is going on

Afaik, that was a bug which was already addressed. It’s possible it remained on your system because you already experienced this in the past?

Could you show us a current screenshot with the latest version with the paid features in Free?

Indeed it was fixed.

Freidkin, what exact version are you using now ?
If it is the just released new version and you still have the paid options, I strongly suggest to perform a clean installation of the latest avast version as your currently installed version is not functioning like it should and can cause your system to be at risk.

I’ve just updated my avast to the new version 17.1.2286. build 17.1.3394.0
And by the way, this bug was present on my previous version also (16), so yeah probably it remained because i had it before. And yeah I didn’t reinstall because didn’t want to lose all of these features and they all seem to work fine :wink:
So what is your recommendation guys? clean reinstall of avast?

As you currently can’t be sure that everything is working as it should, I definitely recommend a clean installation.

Why wouldn’t work everything as it should ?
