Probelm with uninstallation

Hey Guys,

I have a real big problem, i want to remove my totally destroyed Avast!4, to reinstall it.
It everytime i try to start it windows shows me errors, so i installed another AntiVirus software.
But i only uninstalled Avast viá System-Uninstall, because I diddn’t no, that it had to be uninstalled by an extra software, so it wasn’t removed completely, but now I’m angry of my Old dumb Software and want to reinstall Avast, but before i have to uninstall it.
But, the uninstallation software says, i have to flag an option inside Avast, but how…when i can’t run it…
So maybe could you help me trying uninstall it because i momentun have no good AV running… :cry:

I suggest an installation from the scratch:

  1. Uninstall avast from Control Panel first.
  2. Boot.
  3. Download the latest version of Avast Uninstall and use it for complete uninstallation.
  4. Boot.
  5. Install again the latest avast! version.
  6. Boot.
  7. Check and post the results.

Or begin with step 3…

What? The uninstaller?
Did you try booting in Safe Mode and running it from there?
