Do all the updates released get updated to my PC?
I currently have 4.6.647 installed and the latest update is 0515-5 installed on 4-16-2005.
I thought maybe something was not working properly, so I tried to install 0515-6 ans it said something about not needing it if I had 4.6.647.
Today, I tried to install 0-516-3 and go tthe follwoing error message:
Right click on the avast! (a)-ball next to the time, then point to “Updating” and then click on “Program Update”. This will also download the latest version of the virus database.
No, my firewall is allowing avast, everythng was fine until the 16th, was auto updating fine.
Dunno…I don’t think I made any changes, could something have corrupted? Should I uninstall/reinstall?
Looking at my log files, I see these warnings:

Does this mean anything to anyone? I appreciate the help
Oooops, I have installed Process Guard on my PC. Apparently, something there was not allowing Avast! to connect witht he internet.
After I turned off ZA, and that didn’t help, so I turned off Process Guard. That did the trick and upgrades, I guess in queue, started downloading and installing.
All is well now, thanks. 8)
And, I didn’t have to uninstall/install.
I’m wondering if Process Guard is worth the hassle. I checked to see if it was the problem, or so I thought.
Technical, you ar one cool dude, thanks for your help…once again rescuing me!
I’m regreting of having it installed…
Now, you could go to Process Guard and see the Blocked applications… You’ll see that some avast! service is being blocked.
Can you unblock it by a button on the right side of the window…
