Problem clients synchronization

Hi there !

Working with ADMN since 1 year now, and it’s a very good product.
Neverthless, since a month, we have installed 2 PC more.
Now we’re unable to synchronize ADMN with theses clients. We have the number oh licences requeried, of course !
We’ve tried to install manually the client on each PC (client AVAST generated with the ADMN), with no results.
So we’ve tried to launch a discovery task on the active directory; the computers are presents, but mentionned “not installed” in ADMN,
We’ve tried to create the computers directly in ADMN with the correct IP adress, no result more.
We’ve finally tried to do these steps in all order possible, without results.

Please help !
These computers need an exchange protection yet !

Just a precision :
Firewalls are disabled, and the clients are fully installed (they works properly on the computers)…

Please can you help ? We’ve tried all possibilities.

We’ve found a little problem more here : in fact, on ADMN, licences are OK, but on all clients, it’s notified : “licence expired”.
Nevertheless, we have a 3 year licence, and in this day there’s 2 years left !!!
So what ? Is that a bug ? Should we reinstall all the park and the ADMN ? :cry:
Please anymore, could someone help ?

As about the first problem (new machines not communicating), please send me the files \data\log\error.log and warning.log from one of the machines.

As about the second problem (license expired) where exactly are you getting the expired message? Do the machines communicate with the AMS? (i.e. are they “green” in the Catalog?)

First, thank you for your answer,

For first problem, as soon as possible, I will send you the logs.

For second problem, 2 computers are green, for others, the screens are blacks in ADMN, as if clients were shuted down,
but they are working !
When I try to schedule a update VPS task, it returns : “failed (this operation returned because the timeout period expired)”

I have to say that the last date where all was OK, was 09/07/08. Since, We’ve only tried to install two new computers as mentioned before.

Hi,

here are the logs.
There’s 3 files :
1 is for server
2 is a first error computer, that means it never be recognized by ADMN,
3 is a 2nd error computer, that means it was recognized, and now, on client’s side, it’s said :“licence expired”, and on ADMN’s side, it’s said “computer offline”. If we ping in ADMN, it’s said “offline status mismatch”.

Hello. we have since yesterday the same problem.

i am i the try out phase of the adnm product. the license is working for the next few weeks.

my last action i can remember, before i get the error , as described above was:

check and save the installation package. i have clicked save, i mean.
BUT i am sure that i doesnt change anything in it.

today i see, all pcs as black and they can communicate… seems same problem…

what can i do?

Sorry for your problem.
After our problem, nobody in this forum replied. So we’ve reinstall all computers and server.
Unfortunately, we are AVAST’s resellers.
Now for our future clients, we will NEVER buy some AVAST solutions.
WE WORK WITH OTHERS SOLUTIONS, WHICH WORKS PERFERCTLY !

we are avast customers… and we try the admn out, because we want to renew the license…

i hope for me, us and all the others that we will get a solution …

AFTER RESTART THE WHOLE machine… all features work…

SOLUTION: RESTART the computer where adnm run.
