Problem Emailing 'infected file' to alwil

I think 0624-0 has a false positive with HDBHO.DLL - a BHO for HiDownload - but I don’t seem to be able to send it. If I try with MAPI I get

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

        None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.

in my inbox, and if I try SMTP it just fails, although my settings appear to be correct.

Can’t you add this file to Chest and try to send from there?
Is your ‘smtp’ (outbound) email being scanned by avast? Maybe you should disable it while sending this email.

it was from the chest I was trying to send it, switching off the Outlook/Exchange shield didn’t help, but I’ve uploaded it via FTP now.

I was talking about Internet Mail provider (if you’re not using the full MS Outlook but other program).

I use full outlook, 2002 I think.
