Problem event 6008

Good evening,

Since installing the new version of Avast, I regularly the 6008 event (in the center of events) when I close and restart the pc only!. He said that the pc has not closed as it closes very well.

Is this a known issue in this version of avast

The PC farm very well but I have it regularly at the close or restart the PC (reboot wanted to close or noted)
And I can not fix the problem

The PC works fine elsewhere. If not I would look in the center of events, well I would see not even worry

To expand on the actual issue, it seems that 6008 is a so-called “dirty shutdown”

Event 6008 is logged as a dirty shutdown. It gives the message "The previous system shutdown at time on date was unexpected".

What this means is beyond me though, sorry…

I have windows seven and no windows NT

And in my case, the stop / start is wanted

EventLog Error 6008
The previous system shutdown at 13:10:43 on ‎27.‎9.‎2011 was unexpected.

I had this error on two of my systems with the latest beta of avast free (when it was at beta state) every time when I shut my systems down. When I unistalled avast and reinstalled the stable version at that point (6.0.1203), the problem was gone. So it’s most likely avast related.
Now with the latest stable version (6.0.1289) I have this error only on one system.

That error occurs regularly (but not every single time) when I shut my system down normally:
Start → Shut down (or reboot), also when I schedule a shut down with command “shutdown -s”.

I can live with that, but it would be nice to get this solved…

I just checked in my action centre\maintainence\view reliability history and iv also been getting this warning for at least the last week ( windows was not properly shut down )the system shut down was unexpected ???

You could try a clean reinstall.
