Problem following auto update

Hi,

After my Avast Home version auto updated last time, there has been a problem. When I rebooted, windows could not update file %1 to %2. Following this, Avast asks me to reboot every time, and the corner window keeps telling me there’s a new version available.

In short, I don’t know what to do about it. Please help! ???

When avast! asks you for a reboot again, check the file wininit.ini in your Windows directory (before you reboot). What’s the content of this file?
