Seems somethig wrong with your licence key… have you tried to re-register your program in website to recieve new registration key? Maybe it could help you… ???
Are you sure you’re using a valid license key?
Are you using the trial version? Did the 60day period expire?
I also had this problem within the last couple weeks it says my system time/date has changed and the key is temporarily disabled. Though I have not altered the system date/time myself.
I found this post while trying to figure out what the problem was.
I guess I will try to get a new key as well.

Hi, to all,
I had the same problem. I notice that my date was setted to some date in 2002 (I don’t rememeber exactly the date) and after that “Avast update” didn’t work anymore. I didn’t related the two things until I have readed the messages in this forum. Same error same changed date. What’s the problem? Is Avast that changed my date or a virus? Do I have to ask 4 a new key ?
Thanks 4 your help
Best regards
Gian Carlo
No avast doesn’t touch your system date other than to check it to ensure the license is valid, etc.
I believe there are some viruses that change the system date to try and invalidate your anti-virus and other security software.
But there are occasions where for no apparent reason the system date gets changed.
After setting the correct system date, see if that resolves the problem, if not re-register and you should get a new key (I assume you are using the home version)?
