problem opining a site when using avast premier (not free avast)

dear sir/madam
I have a problem opining the following site as far as my avast premier anti virous is working.

http://www.ammanu.edu.jo/English/HomeP/Home.aspx

I have another computer with the free version of avast and the site is opining without any problem
This site is for the university I am working in, so can you help me to overcome this problem.

This problem is the same for google chrome and for MS Edge browsers

Hi, do you get any warning…? A screenshot might help.

Sounds like a Firewall setting. Allowing the website.
Is the firewall set to private or public ???
If you’re home, it should be set to private.

Thank you for your help. My setting was public, I set it to private and I am getting the same. I even set the firewall off and the problem still exist. The message I am getting is

I can reach the site without problems.

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
