Problem solved but still need something checked into!

I just downloaded and installed the latest version of Avast Home free, 4.8.1229.80723 but I couldn’t get it to load at start up or accept my license.

Now it’s 10 minutes later and I solved my problem by just reinstalling the software. Everything runs fine and it accepted my license number.

However I would like you to check into this issue for me… I go to submit a support ticket by registering, but it says my email address is already in use. So I click on forgot password and I’m then sent my user name (my email) and a password. I enter that information into the area where I can open a support ticket and it says invalid user name or password. I am registered for these forums though obviously!

I never saw this message… as far I know, the avast home version registration page does not make this checking…

Hmmm… the forum registration has nothing to do with home version program registration…
