I check properties. The dates are all for the day for an online document. I open, after a scan, and nothing is there. I didn’t download whatever it is. Scan shows its all right.
How do I stop it from showing up every time I turn on my computer?
And how did it get there?
The only document I saved recently in Wordpad is an email.
Is that email the source?
The icon was nothing like those on that Google page.
It looks like the looseleaf document icon found on Windows.
Whatever it is (that I’ve deleted twice to have it show up again),
is gone this time turning my system on.
Before I shut down last time, I went to run > msconfig > Start Up…I unchecked a couple of boxes on things I didn’t recognize: one of the two for mwsoemon, error fix and a Google update thing.
I will report back if that debug icon shows up again.
I don’t know why it began showing up to begin with.
I read about a problem on Google with instructions to go into iGoggle page and click hide on chat. I did that with one gmail account. I restart computer after deleted the debug empty document. Open IE. I open another gmail account, the icon pops up.
Evidently, its a Google problem they haven’t fixed.
Hello all, I have the same strange note pad looking icon that is called Debug as well. I can delete it go to Internet Explorer close out and it is there again. I have 4 pc’s in my home and it shows up on everyone of them. Any ideas or fixes to this yet?
I think I just found the fix for me I went and removed Google Talk plug in which was the most recent instal / update for me and it has not gone away. Just FYI…
