problem with avast and browsers using wordpress

I am trying to design a website with wordpress. When I am on my website and customizing it I am required to rerfesh the page twice to see any content. I have narrowed it down to Avast causing the problem. I have disabled Web Shield under active protection to no avail. The only way to get the wordpress pages to load instantly is to disable Avast all together.
The issue happens with both Chrome and Firefox
What could be causing this issue?

Using version 11.1.2253
Def version is 160330-2

Windows 7 Sp1
Firefox version 45.0.1
Chrome version 49.0.2623.110 m

Only other security software installed is Microsoft security essentials

What are the browser versions ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)

Strange that other don’t have that problem.
I suggest to submit a ticket to avast.
