I HAVE THE “AVAST PREMIOUM SECURITY” AND SUDDENTLY IT BLOCKS 2 SITES OME, THAT I HAVE IN THE SAME COMPANY (WIX) FOR FREE. WHY ??? * THE SITES ARE CHECKED FOR VIRUSES AND EVERYTHING SUSPECT. PLEASE CHECK¨: https://xxl-radio.wixsite.com/website
AND http://party-makers.gr/
WHEN I TURN OFF THE AVAST THE PROBLEM STOPS AND I CAN SEE MY SITES…
I HAVE MORE SITES IN THE SAME FREE PLACE, BUT ARE OK…WHY THEESE HAVE PROBLEM ?
Many on the forums are over 50 myself included. What Pondus mentions, is a very quick and easy way to do that. My browser Firefox shows what text magnification percentage you are using at the time.
You can submit a possible false positive on a URL/Website using the link that I posted.
Turning off Avast isn’t the best way to get past the Alert, as it is off for other sites also and you have to remember to enable it again.
In the alert window there is an option to Create an Exception. The first link you gave still has an Avast alert (see attached image, click to expand) - the second one no longer has an alert by many browsers depending on setting will block it depending on settings http and not https connection.
THANK YOU MY FRIEND !!!
I FOLLOW YOUR ADVICES AND THE SITES ARE OK !!!
(I WRITE ALWAYS IN CAPS CAUSE I CANT SEE VERY WELL, ALSO MANY PEOPLE WHWN ARE OLDER THAN 50 YEARS OLD…)
THANKS AGAIN !!!
1: posting active links to suspect sites risks accidental exposure to others - hXXps://xxl-radio.wixsite.com/website and hXXp://party-makers.gr/ - please modify your post.
2: THERE IS NO NEED TO SHOUT (all caps).
Some information on why could have been helpful, such as a screenshot of the Alert Window with the Details option selected, such as the attached screenshot (click to expand).
You can report a Possible False Positive - New location to report both a False Positive and or a False Negative (for File or URL) - https://www.avast.com/submit-a-sample#pc
