hi… so, i’m using AIS right now, got it from the quiz…
the problem is,the firewall kept blocking 1 of my application.
i already put the appl to the application rules, first time, it worked,
but then, if i closed the application, and open it again, the firewall blocked it again… so, i have to delete the application rule, and then put it again,… it kind of annoyed…lol…
right now, everytime i wanna open the application, i turn off the firewall for 10 minutes,.
am i wrong with the setting??
Hi rwllm: I only used AIS in Trial version a while back and not for very long,But have you tried to put the APP in question in the ‘Setting’ Exclusion list and see if that makes any difference?
I don’t know for sure I really can’t remember, However with OA and OP if I’m having issues with a particular APP it often helps to exclude them from protection.
Just a thought
hi schmidthouse , thx for the reply… so, i followed ur instruction, until now, i can run the application freely, thx to you…lol… hope it will stayed like this,…
anyway, is it dangerous for my PC if i put it in the exclude list??
You are welcome.
I really can’t respond as to whether it will be safe for your OS because obviously I am not familiar with the program you excluded…however I can say any APP I have excluded from my firewall protection is a program I know and trust…for example another security software program or an App that I am certain is not malicious or questionable.
The decision is really yours for you are the one running it and know it best.
If any other problems or concerns arise please let us know…we are here to help.
Hope all continues to work as it should.
ps: I’d love to have a closer look at your AIS license (the quiz really ? )
edit: would have been interesting to also have a look at your firewall log, to see what sort of connections your “applications” were attempting to establish ;D
hi again… umm… FYI the application i mean is an online game… Wonderking Online…
i didn’t know if it was a malware or crack or something like that…sorry, im a bit newbie here…
