I am extremely new to Avast. But I am technically competent.
I installed Avast for Business on 4 computers. 2 (WIN 7) of them work fine and the other 2 (XP / WIN 7) had Ethernet connectivity issues after the install. The two that installed fine were installed with an admin logged on. The 2 failed installations were run with ‘Run As’, where the run-as person had domain admin rights.
I uninstalled the product on the two machines that had a problem.
Ideas? Must a user be logged on as an admin to install? Would the ‘Run As Admin’ be a better option?
