Hi,
I am using Avast Internet Security 6 latest version (Trial) with latest definations.
I am a home user.
Whenever I used to open any website I get Server Not found error on FF and Webpage not available in Chrome.
After Stopping AVAST firewall all problems goes.
So, this is related to Firewall.
I have checked that Chrome is not blocked in Application rules section.
Please help me to solve it, When I re started firewall this problem arise again.
I am using XP SP 3.

Which profile for avast! Firewall that you have opted for? Like Home, Work or Public. Plus, apart from avast! do you have or had any other security softwares in the computer?

I do not use any other security products, I just tried it.
I was using “home” profile in my firewall.
Not only this I have other issues like crash of my Graphics Card in game (Though game mode activated) which does not occurred with other Internet Security I have Used before.
So I have decided to stick with my previous security.
Sorry I think Avast is not for my PC!! :-X :-[.
