Problem With The Alert system...

Hello,

I recently switched to Avast free edition v.4.6 and I find it is a really good product!!!

Anyway, I’ve got a problem with the alert system :frowning:

I have a File/print/etc server under windows with avast v. 4.6
I configured the alert system to send a winpopup on every computer on my LAN…Wen I press “Test ALL” it works. When I try to upload the eicar.com file on the fileserver, Avast detect it…normal… But no LAN alert is sent :frowning:

anybody has an idea??

I haven’t found an answer in this forum nor in the help file…

Restart the machine and see if the problem is solved.
I think the alert-related changes for the on-access are not applied automatically.
