Hello,
I have avast! premiere 9. when I installed it “chrome” was my only browser.
Now i’m using firefox and i’d like to get an information how to install it on firefox.
Thanks
Firefox>Tools>Add-ons>enable AOS
edit: wrong wording
Thanks for the fast answer. I tried this but the problem is that I don’t find avast online security there
If you’ve gone to Add-ons and clicked Plugins in the left pane, but don’t see Avast listed on the right, then…
-
Close all browsers.
-
Go to Control Panel → Programs and Features and select Avast. Click Uninstall/Change. Select Change in the window that comes up and click next. Uncheck the Browser Security feature, and click next.
-
When that’s finished, change it again, checking the Browser Security feature to install it again.
Wouldn’t it be easier to do a repair?
Control Panel>Uninstall a Program>double click “avast”>click “repair”>reboot
Not necessarily. A repair will set Avast to default settings. Depending on how many settings a user’s changed on his/her own, it might be more time consuming to repair. (And it doesn’t even sound “broken”, really.)
Uh…I’d much rather try the repair since it appears something “is” broken…the plug-in.
I’m sorry but non of this helped!
may you give more advice?
If you’ve gone to Add-ons and clicked Plugins in the left pane,
It is not in Plug-ins, it is in Extensions.
Right, Extensions. I was thinking that, and wound up typing “Plug-ins”…
