Problema Avast 4home edition

Ciao!
Ho installato nel mio pc l’antivirus Avast 4 home edition da qualche mese e andavo benissimo!
fino a ieri quando ho volevo farlo partire che mi si è aperta una finistra con scritto: “C:/Programmi\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashAvast.exe non è un’applicazione di Win32 valida”

Volevo sapere cos’è successo? e come risolvere il problema?

I suggest an installation from the scratch:

Uninstall avast from Control Panel first.
Boot.
Use Avast Uninstall for complete uninstallation.
Boot.
Download and install again the last version.
Boot.
Check and post the results.

Do you have any other antivirus in your computer?

prova a scaricare il disinstallatore che trovi nel sito ufficiale (gira bene che lo trovi) e disinstallalo con quello, poi riavvia e fai una pulizia del registro con programmi tipo CCleaner o software del genere, e poi reinstalla. Quando finisce l’installazione riavvia ancora. Dovrebbe andare.
