Probleme de freeze apres installation d'avast

Bonjour a toutes et a tous,

Je viens de formater mon ordinateur, et j’ai voulu installer avast mais des le redemarrage, celui me fait freezer le pc…
Je passe en mode sans echec, desinstallation d’avast, redemarrage et la tout revient dans l’ordre

Une idée ??

Sorry…

I just formatted my computer and I wanted to install avast but the restart, it makes me freezing the pc …
I go in safe mode, uninstalling avast, reboot and everything back in order

An idea?

Which was your old antivirus? How did you uninstall it?
Do you mean you can logon but the computer freezes?

We will need more information to be able to help you:

  • Which OS are you using? Is it up to date?
  • What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number?
  • Do you use a firewall? Which one?
  • Any other security programs that could interfere?
  • In XP/Vista, is there any useful information into Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Events, specially ‘Errors’?

Be patient, freezing is not an easy problem to troubleshoot…
