Does the firewall still cause a system slowdown? (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=102356)
Is it still not possible to make it “Do nothing” when it asks what to do after detecting a virus? (False positives…)
install and find out
LOL the firewall lag still isn’t solved? that was a problem with the first version of AIS version 5. that bug is at least 2 years old maybe more.
Look at this thread about the same problems reported 2+ years ago:

and this one:

this was the last official reply that i read about this issue:

so yeah i hope this problem is fixed now…I should mention that I last checked this issue this summer and the DPC was very high after some time.
Just tried reinstalling it. The firewall problem seems to have been solved. But i’m still not able to chose anything but delete, move to vault and block. Or in case of the network shield, abort connection.
Is it still not possible to make it "Do nothing" when it asks what to do after detecting a virus? (False positives...)send samples to avast lab....FP will be fixed....problem solved ;)
No, firewall is still not fixed…
You stated it was a false positive. Pondus gave the proper reply.
I have used AIS and experienced no slow down at all.
Almost forgot about the sidebar not wanting to shut down…
Bump, thread is still relevant…
