I have a big problem with my Avast !
My setup :
Win XP SP3, all updates, latest Avast Version
My Problem : Avast was running really good on this machine. I think but I’m not sure after some automatic security updates the tray icon disappear. When I saw this, I wasn’t able to start the
Avast GUI anymore. But the security center says there is avast installed with the latest virus definition files. Also wenn I start the internet-explorer I have the “wave” icon right hand side showing.
I tried to deinstall, reinstall, clean the machine, install again - NOTHING helps, I can normally install the avast application, no error. When I want to start the GUI nothing happen.
In the eventvwr - no error or no information 
Can ANYONE help me with this error ???
Any ideas what I can try !?!?!?
