Problems logging in

I set up a password in my Avast Pro, but even though I am sure I have it right, when I try to login at Settings or Avast shields control, it won’t accept the password. There seems to be no mechanism to set up a new password without first giving the old one… which it won’t accept.

What should I do to fix this problem?

Thanks for that Asyn. I had thought of reinstalling, but thought the password would still be in effect once I entered my license key. Will follow those instructions later today.
