I have had Avast for a couple of months. I have started having problems receiving emails to this email server address - http://mail.redboxtools.com Half of my emails are going to the Junk email folder. I am not able to read these emails. I am not sure how to fix this problem. Please help me. Thank you
Do you check your e-mail using your browser or do you use a POP3 application like Outlook Express?
If it’s your browser (like with the Yahoo free accounts,) then Avast would have nothing to do with that. You should talk with that site’s support or webmaster for assistance.
avast isn’t an anti-spam program so it has nothing to do with the quantity of email sent to the junk mail folder or the inability to read them.
The avast forums are publicly available so I suggest you remove your email address from within the post unless you like spam, there are harvester tools that trawl the internet looking for email addresses to add to spam lists.
