I have a client with Pro version 5 who is having trouble sending attachments. If AVAST! is blocking something in Outlook, it will prompt the user as such correct? Also, disabling the shields for 10 minutes while he sends the attachments should eliminate the antivirus as the culprit as well, should it not?
Yes, disabling the shields should be enough to see if avast is the issue.
Most of the time when we see a user having trouble sending an attachment it’s because the attachment is too large. Many ISPs block large attachments to reduce the strain on their mail servers. What size is the attachment(s) that will not send?
