Problems sending mails in Outlook 2007 with latest Avast 9

Hello,

On 24th October I agreed with an update of my Avast Internet Security to 2014.9.0.2006.

After installation, it seems that my Outlook 2007 is not able tot send my mails anymore; they stay in the Outbox.
I get the following message: “sending error 0x800CCC78, cannot send message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 530 Authenntication required.”

When I disable Avast, the mails can be sent without any problem.

I checked Outlook Trust center, Add-ins, avast! Addin: it was active (found procedure on this forum) So this was not the reason.

My system is Windows 7 64 bit
Thanks for your help

One of my customers had the same problem with Outlook 2013 in a Microsoft Exchange Environment.

Disable Avast solved the problem.
